At an event in Berlin, Surface chief Panos Panay (who introduced the Duo and Neo a couple of weeks ago), offered some more information on the hardware. Without going into specifics, Panay promised both the Duo and Neo will have a “good camera” and neither will have a 5G variant at launch. While the smartphone will run Android, we expect Microsoft wants to deeply integrate its own services into the experience. During the last week, we have seen how this may include support for UWP apps while the handset will also provide a perfect base for Project xCloud.
